In Bank Reconciliation, may I know where does Bank ledger entries VS Bank account statement comes from in Navision 2018?

Hi Community,

Kinda silly question.

May I ask where does Bank ledger entries VS Bank account statement comes from and what do they show?

For example, I understand that Bank ledger entries will show payment entries. What others are there?

    Josh,

Bank Statement Lines are your import of the Bank Statement and/or manual application if not importing. The Bank Account Ledger Entries are Checks, Deposits, and any fee transactions effecting the Bank Account that you have posted.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Nitin is correct. Also keep in mind that there are Check Ledger Entries but for purposes of bank reconciliation the Bank Account Ledger Entries include the Check Ledger Entries as well.

What you are doing here is matching the Bank Statement Lines that you imports to the Bank Ledger Entries in BC.

If you are not using the Bank Statement import function there is another method of reconciling your bank statement to your BC bank ledger entries.

    Hello Josh,

The Bank statement lines we always import to reconcile with what we had posted earlier with our bank and they are called Bank Ledger entries on right.

    Thanks.
