Can anyone please help me with understanding of difference account. As per technet, any difference between the transaction amount and the counted amount goes to the difference account.
But if i close any statement without tender declaration and manually enter the amount in the counted column of the statement posting, no amount is recorded in the difference account. But I have seen that the difference account is getting affected when i am posting multiple days transaction record in a same statement. But I have verified in another environment that even posting multiple days transaction is not taking any amount to the difference account.
Can anyone please explain why the difference account gets affected please.
