What is the sorting logic for Sessions included in Pass in Events portal?

Hi,

I'm curious to know how to alphabetise the Sessions included in a pass in Events portal?

Currently, I have an event that is in total 4 day event, with total of 5 separate sessions. Firstly, it seems if you use two day sessions in Agenda, the session table in the portal shows only one day. Because of this, I split it into two separate sessions Day 1 and Day 2. I have one pass that includes all sessions, looking at it in the Events portal it shows as follows:

Day 2 - Session X (Tuesday)
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Day 2 - Session Y (Thursday)
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Day 1 - Session X (Monday)
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Session Z (Tuesday)
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Day 1 - Session Y (Wednesday)
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Evening session (Thursday)
5:30 PM - 11:00 PM
So my question is, what is the sort logic here, since its not time and it is not name (alpabetical)? It is neatly aligned by time in the Agenda tab of Event.
Current setup is not very user friendly and makes it harder for the participant to view which tickets include which sessions.
Thanks!

    Hi elisak,

    For your first point:

I also tried to create session that lasts than 1 day and I can only select start date, it's by design.

    For your question:

I found it sorts by Created on field:

    0814c1.JPG

    0814c2.JPG

Currently there is no OOB way to modify this sort in event page,

and created on field is not able to update by code once a record has been created,

we could only be careful when create sessions for an event.

Please suggest your ideas to Idea forum

    Regards,

    Clofly
