hi fellows,

is it possible to install Microsoft CRM 2013 for Outlook 2013 sp1 on windows 8.1 ?

yes you install MS crm 2013 outlook client for outlook 2013 sp1 with windows 8.1

Running on Windows 8.1 requires Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Update Rollup 2 . Do you have rollup 2 applied on the crm server?

Update Rollup 2 introduces support for the following:

Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11 using CRM 2013 web application and CRM for Tablets

iOS7 support with Safari on iPad using the web application

Support for Safari using web application

CRM for Tablets using the tablet app for iPad Air

Windows Server 2012 R2 for CRM Server

Yes I applied Service pack 1 update to the server, which is include all update Rollups.

but here the problem is not about connecting to the server, it doesn't INSTALL

if you wanna apply updates to the client first you have to install it then update it because there is no stand alone CRM 2013 for outlook sp1 is available, only updates.

so I'm Completely confused!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Can you re-download the installer, it is possible that the installer you used was corrupted and not in full size. Thanks.

I just downloaded again and re-install it but still same issue.

also I install in comparability mode windows 8, installation wizard begin but i got requirement error at the end because it needs "windows installer 4.5" which we can not install it on windows 8.1
