I have created an entity using solution.

I have not checked on any fields in "Areas that display this entity"
Now where can I go and find the newly created entity?

    Hello Vicky;

    If you did not specify a location for the entity to appear the only way to find it is to do an advanced find on that entity and then create a new one from there.

    It is worth noting that you can always go back and update the Areas that display this entity at any time.

    I have actually selected the area, but when I export the solution as a managed solution and publish it in a different machine, it is not getting listed in that area

    Also, I searched for the entity in advanced find and I got "New entity" link. But where should I go for editing the entity definition? In the new entity I only get the option to edit the form

    Oh Vicky sorry about that; when you check the organization your importing can you confirm that the area is selected? If not I'd recommend publishing your customization in your dev and rexport.

    In your test environment you could go to customizations and update this custom enitity to display where ever you want it to be.

    Validate your Sitemap and application ribbons files packed in your solution file. It might not be added in solution file.
