CRM 2015 SPLA licensing and external users

I have a customer who we will deploy CRM 2015 with SPLA in customer environment. Customer will require external users to access CRM. How is this best achieved, and what are the licensing implications?

    You will need to use some kind of portal solution, much like what is offered by ADX Studio or you can build your own. Apart from the fees that the 3rd party portal company will charge the customer, they will also have to buy connector license that was $5000 last time I checked for on-premise and free for CRM online.
