CRM for mobile "downloading customizations"

Hi all,

I'm investigating whether or not my organisation could make use of the CRM for Mobile app in order to help with things like offline/remote data capture. I downloaded the app onto my personal iPhone just to see if I could sign in and what kind of things I could do with it out of the box. I read that the first person to sign in for a given organisation should prepare for a long wait as it has to build some metadata for all the customisations before downloading them... but I've been stuck looking at this screen for about 4 hours now. Does it usually take this long? Is there something I should change to help this along? Has anyone else had a similar experience? We're using a CRM Online instance and I'm trying to connect to our Sandbox version, if that's relevant at all...

Any advice appreciated!

    I'd be happy to hear how satisfied you are with the app when you have some opinions. I have no experience with iPhone app but the one on Android is ... well ... it can't be considered as a CRM app that sales person would regularly use every day.

    Ah, it seems to have worked! For anyone else having this problem: I'd recommend closing the app entirely and trying again from scratch as Wayne suggested.

    Thanks Wayne. It's step 4/5 it seems to be hung on: "downloading customizations". I have quit the app and started it again, it flies through the first 3 steps then just hangs on step 4...

    Four hours is definitely unusual.  I'd quit and restart and see if it moves forward.  What step does it get to? There's 5 steps and the one it's sticking at might help.
