I am getting " Unable to get property 'getFormContext' of undefined or null reference: error. Does formcontext works in Dynamics CRM 2016 or Dynamics 365 V8.2?

    formContext syntax (to replace Xrm.Page) has been introduced with Dynamics 365 V9, so it doesn't work with previous versions.
