Good afternoon,

Is there a timesheet report that can be run for individual projects on Business Central please? I have a handful of projects that I would like to produce a report on that shows the number of hours submitted to those projects per employee?

For example, for project 12345, i want to run a report that tells me which employee recorded timesheets against that project, including the total hours submitted per employee?

This is a good starting point:

Note that I have included specific filters for the job ledger entry section - this is effectively the history of the job. Ensure you add a "Posting Date" filter where possible if you intend to run this for many jobs.

If this doesn't meet your requirement you may consider using a reporting solution like Power BI to gather what you need from the job ledger entry table. There are no standard reports for the time sheets tables. Only benefit of including those tables for this scenario would be an understanding over timesheets which have not yet been submitted for a specific job.

Alternatively, if it should be quite simple, you could also output the job ledger entry table to Excel and then create a PivotTable based on this data.

E.g. "Job No." as column and "Description" as row with filter on Type "Resource" -should do the job.

We do something like this with our NC Excel Builder App, here you can set up the settings for Excel once and don't have to do it manually over and over again.

But it also works in the standard as described above.
