Email parameters for separate legal entities of sender addresses

Hi Team,

We have two legal entities, ABC and XYZ, and we want to send emails from no-reply@abc.com for ABC and no-reply@xyz.com for XYZ within Dynamics 365 F&O . However, we’ve observed that the email parameters appear to be shared across all legal entities, which prevents us from configuring separate sender addresses per entity.

your assistance will be appreciated!.

    Hi @JP..,

It is not possible to set the from email address legal entity wise in the system (as you said). You can use a common sender email address like

    Thank you,

    Hi,

Can you tell us in which process(es) you are using the sender email address?

For workflows you define it here, which is defined for every legal entity.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi Adis & Raj Borad,

We are sending reports to vendors via ISV once we initiate payments separately for both legal entities.

    Thank you

    Hi @JP..

and I believe it is in Paid version (not in free version).

    Otherwise, you may consider customization

    Hi JP,

If you are looking for different sender emails for different legal entities, then defining the same in email parameters will not suffice your requirement as this is shared (you're already aware)..

Since, to send the report you are already having customization at present. You can choose to do the customization with different available options.
    1) You can use different email templates in different legal entities and define the sender email. (as suggested by @Adis)
    2) If there is any possibility to utilize the Electronic reporting configuration, then From Email can be defined in ER destination.
    3) Use Docentric solution as suggested by @Sohaib

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Regards,
    Neeraj Kumar

Hi JP, i was reading the below article

Can you please try by setting the batch job with two different users in two different legal entities? As per the article, the user used in batch job will be the sender.

    Regards,
    Neeraj
