CRM 2015 online trial

Hi Everyone,

Real simple question here, I'd appreciate any feedback. I've just registered and being given the URL for a trial of 2015. When I login, I can only see the service module, not the sales or marketing. Is this a restriction of the trial or am I missing something? I need access to the account and contact entities. I can see them from the backend but not the front end is there some new functionality which hides them out of the box?

Many Thanks

Sam

Sounds like you have only been assigned one limited Security role.  Are you the administrator of the O365 account hosting the trial?

Your user account needs access to an elevated security role to see all areas of the trial.

Trial version comes with the full feature set. As Matthew suggested check your security role.

    Hi Sam,

During Trial Configuration you need to provide a Username and Password, which actually becomes the Global Administrator for Office365 and Administrator for Dynamics CRM System.

If you are trying to Login using that ID to your CRM, you should see everything (Sales, Service, Marketing, Settings, Help)

If you have added a new user to through Office365 and assigned the CRM Professional License to the user, then you need to provide that user a Security Role in CRM in order for him to Login to the CRM System.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

I had the exact same problem, but after googling about the problem for a while I went back to the org and everything was working. I imagine this is just a timing issue with the org create process.
