Serial Number change on existing Inentory Items

We have existing Inventory Items that are not tracked by Serial Number, but they need to be changed to tracked by Serial Number.  Has any one been successful with changing this key value with existing inventory?

    Hi Jim,

    It is best to start a new inventory item.  You can adjust the remaining items out of the inventory item that is not serial tracked and adjust them into the new serial tracked inventory item.
