Merging Dynamic Pivot Tables from CRM 2011 into one spreadsheet

Is there a way to merge multiple exported pivot tables from CRM 2011 into one common spreadsheet?

I have a report template that I am trying to recreate through a series of dynamic pivot tables.  All of the pivot tables' data sources would exported from and connected to CRM, and updated dynamically.

I know how to create one pivot table from a CRM export, but is there a way to put many dynamically connected pivot tables into ONE excel spreadsheet, while MAINTAINING the connection to CRM data?

In a perfect world, I would like to be able to open this spreadsheet daily and see up-to-date information.

Thanks for any help.

    Hi GH044

I'm disappointed that you did not get an answer on this, I need to do the same sort of thing. Did you ever find a solution?

    Regards

I found this potential solution on a similar forum post but this seems to be a way to have multiple sheets with pivot tables rather than multiple pivot tables on one sheet

As this issue, I think you just need to know how to move the pivot tables into one sheet.

    Here are the steps:

Select the pivot table, PivotTable Tools->Options->Move PivotTable, select New Worksheet in the Move PivotTable dialog box.

Then the PivotTable is moved into a new sheet. Then right click the new sheet->Move or Copy, choose the same workbook listed in the To book: part. But the workbook which contains all the pivot table should open in the same instance with the other workbooks.

For how to open multiple workbooks in one instance, here’s an easy way to do that, just double click the workbook to open them, or open one workbook, then click File-> Open to choose the workbooks you want to open.
