I have created a new security role lookup field on account entity,  in classic view i am able to edit it but on UCI it is default locked.

I am system administrator

Please suggest is there any limitations?

    Hy Partner,

Hope this post finds you well.

Security Role entity is not enabled for the UCI yet, thus we cannot add edit or play with records which are having security roles information in UCI framework.

Feature has been locked with the Microsoft product group team and might be available in next future releases.

For this use case , till this feature is available, workaround is to use is legacy web client.

    Hope this helps.

    Hy Partner,

Hope this post finds you well.

Thanks for bringing in this notice that SecurityRole is not included in this article : docs.microsoft.com/.../about-unified-interface . This article needs to be updated.

But still Security role is not available for UCI. You can check this by navigating to Customization--> Customize the system--> Entities--> Security Role . You will find this entity read only and Enable for mobile is not checked.
