Hi All,
Can someone please help me understand what exactly this KB 4616239 is trying to say and what is it that has been fixed by it?
I have applied Quality of life update on my development box and this KB was part of it.
I tried to find Item ID field length but nowhere i can see it has increased to 100.
Can someone help me understand which Item ID field of what table exactly it is talking here?
here is the link to this KB on LCS.
Hi IamVikky,
The KB was released to correct a "truncate" in a Stored procedure, so the field in crt schema has 100 chars and the code was truncating the field to 20.
So, shouldn't have any negative impact in your external components, quite the opposite, you should apply it to fix the issue.
Hi Diogo,
Thanks for your response.
We are actually upgrading our environment to 10.0.19.
We have other external commerce system which pushes orders to Retail (RCSU) through API. API calls Retail DLLs.
so just wanted to make sure if there is any negative impact of this.
I wonder why this field is of different length than Headquarter field.
Hi Vikky,
Form what I can check this KB is related with a SQL stored procedure from crt schema (Retail/commerce) object where itemid was with nvarchar(20) instead of nvarchar(100).
This KB is available in 10.0.18, if you want to get it, please update your environemnt to 10.0.18 and in case of you have a CSU to 9.28.## (10.0.18)
Hello Moderators,
Can we please move this to Finance forum? We are using Finance and Operations where we face this issue but I have used Commerce forum sighting the issue related to Commerce module of F&O.
Thanks.
