I have the projIvoice report, adapted the papersize in visual studio to A4 and deployed it to ssrs but when generating pdf from ssrs or dicercly from ax, it still uses Leter

does some one have experience with this and can help next link?

Maybe this can help: Printer defaults to letter instead of A4 - how AX finds the default printer

Kindly make background color on different sections of reports then export.. it will tell you which margin / body causing the problem.

Have you try add an additional export settings in SSRS to export to A4?

(scug.be/.../export-sql-reports-in-pdf-landscape)
