Hi
After restore of organization I got this error
Cannot perform 'activate' because the encryption key doesn’t match the original encryption key that was used to encrypt the data
Is it possible to generate new key or? what can i do fix this.

Happened to me when organization was upgraded from 2011 to 2015 and I generate a new encrypt key and worked.

    Hello Ragnar,

Navigate to Settings > Data management > Data Encryption, give a random new password and check we can activate the encryption key.

    Thanks,

    Churchill

    Make a backup.

    Flush your existing passwords:

    use Organization_MSCRM
update EmailServerProfile set IncomingPassword = null
update EmailServerProfile set OutgoingPassword = null
update Mailbox set Password = null
update Queue set EmailPassword = null
update UserSettings set EmailPassword = null

and check your ServersideExchange connection afterwards.
