attachment Notes preview

Hello

I can't be the only one being asked why the PO attachment notes preview is so small in D365FO compared to the AX2012.

My client needs this to be in a bigger window so the approvers do not have to keep scrolling down for much bigger notes before approval. 

I have the option to open it up for 'Attachment' types but note for notes. See screen capture below. 

Anyone come across a work around/ can confirm if it's a big modification to expand the box horizontally?  Thank you!

    Hi Indiguna

    I'm afraid you can't enlarge this preview without a modification. It will require some development effort to enlarge it or create a new preview form which can be used full screen.

    Hi Indiguna,

    Yes, as Charlotte Xu told it requires customization. For preview option they are using "Document view container" control - As you can see the control properties, they are setting the Max width and Max height properties - But this property will not ne enabled when you extend this form.

    You can do one thing - just copy the GetFocus event handler of that control and try setting the width property to some fixed values and check. This is a workaround, and I won't confirm that this will work.
