How to change leads on marketing list to bulk email allow

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I have imported leads from an event via the ClickDimensions import tool. They have successfully been added to the list however, when I sent the email it did not deliver as the leads were set to "do not allow bulk email".

Is there an advanced find or another easy way to change them all to bulk email allow at once?

    Hi LABevan,

I'd open Advanced Find and look through emails to see if any are still pending send or sending before setting up any new emails.

IF they are pending send, then setup another workflow to change the status of the emails back to Sending to distribute them again.

Advanced find seemed to work. Thanks you!

I had also sent the email to that list but of course it didn't deliver - will it deliver now or will I need to create a new email send?

    Hi LABevan,

Advanced find could work, you'd have to set the following filters to do so (Also probably include the Created On date to the date you imported the lead records):

However, you will have to bulk edit 250 records at a time after you click results:

If you want, you could create an OnDemand workflow, then use the XRMToolBox to connect to your instance and run the workflow against the same personal view seen above. That way, the workflow will bulk 'edit' your lead records for you without you having to work through 250 records at a time.
