PSA - Can't add Project-Based Quote Lines. Was able to add properly from Opportunity

Hi,

I'm working on a PSA on a v9.0 version. When I try to pass Project Based Lines from the Opportunity, it works fine. But when I try to add Project Based Lines from Quote directly, it doesn't let me do the same. It adds to the Product Based lines in fact.

Any way to add these from the Project Based Lines from Opportunity

    I had a similar issue .... in my case this was the solution.

    After pressing the "+" to add the quote line, check that the correct form is displayed. It might be defaulting to the "Information" form. I think Could do what you describe.

    Change the form to "Project Information". You should then see the project specific fields, such as selecting if the work is T&M / Fixed Price etc.

    Hopefully this helps.

    Thanks Neil, you are spot on. It's not particularly apparent, but by changing to to the project information view the project based quote lines box appears. What is also not intuitive is that you must do this before saving the opportunity as it can't be enabled afterwards.
