Old post but wanted to follow up. Seems the "Change Password" has been fixed (MS patch) a few months back when using it from Contacts with FS Hub.
O, I see "Change Password" works as expected when in "Portal Management"

Same issue here. Can't do password reset anywhere. Any clue how to use the BPF to do this? There's one in the system, but not sure how to make that the default instead of the dialog (which obviously has gone the way of the dinosaur...)?

Also in the portal app the function dialog is not working any more
I started having the same issue after the 2021 wave 2 release. Turns out it was deprecated in the Field Service model driven app. I can still set passwords from the Portal Management app.

I have gone through all of the recommendations but it's still not working. I also don't have 'dialog session' in my security role either.
Wondering if you found a resolution?

For the system administrator role I have this:

How do I set that up?
