Purchase order workflow stuck at 'In review'

Hi,

Different but similiar issue as earlier post.  We created a purchase approval workflow with no conditions, manual approval.  It is activated.  When a purchase order is created and submitted it stays in the 'In review' status and can't be approved.  Only option on the 'Action' button is view history.  When setup a workflow enabling auto approve it works as expected. Using AX2012 CU8.

    Hi Jon,

    Please check in the Batch jobs if there is a workflow message processing batch configured and running every minute. Also check when this is running if there are no batch job history records with errors.

    If this is all correct, you can have a look at the workflow history form if the instance is in an error state. A possible cause is that the approver does not have the appropriate access rights in AX.

    Checking the Batch Jobs but also noticed the following error:

    Stopped (error): X++ Exception: Failed to create a session; confirm that the user has the proper privileges to log on to Microsoft Dynamics.

    This would be found in the Security module correct?
