Need ability to only see and assign specific security roles to a new User

Hello, I am trying to find a way to only allow the assignment of specific security roles to a new User. My scenario is business unit 'XYZ' contains 30 security roles, but when I am granting permission to assign these 'XYZ' roles to new users, I only want to be able to choose 5 of those 30 security roles within that business unit.

Do you know if there is any way to only show specific security roles when assigning them to new users? Since security roles are tied to the business unit, all of them are visible to be assigned, so I am not confident what I'm asking can be done. Any advice would be appreciated. I am currently on v9.0 on-premise.

Hi kcpacker85,

Unfortunately, you can't only show specific roles when assigning them to new users, all roles will be listed in the 'Manage User Roles' dialog.
