Hide some blocks without using CSS

Hi Guys, 

Again a question about IU, it is very hard for me to find where deactivate some parts of CRM.

Login into Portal > Profile

Want to hide the security block on the left and the "How may we contact you?" along with the checkboxes and the Update button.

PS: I tried disabling the snippets that are being used, but that wouldn't work as it needs to be disabled from the template for that page which I can't find... Online version feels like blindness sometimes.

    I have found a way of hiding the Security fields by using the web faced admin tool.

    Just go to the page you want edit, then click Edit > Options Tab > Custom CSS.

    Hi Martin, yes, that did it for the marketing part, any idea for the menu on the left? it feels I should try that one with css isn't it?

    Hi Blitzey.

    There is a site setting for showing the the marketing preferences.

    Set the Profile/ShowMarketingOptionsPanel to false.
