H ow to check query for multiple accounts in mscrm advanced find.

I need to Find counts for Accounts for

ATT

Ericsson

Century link (CTL)

Verizon.

We have multiple accounts in CRM for each of these. They might start with the same name eg. AT&T southeast, AT&T North etc.

Need to check also contacts counts for each of these accounts in CRM advanced find. 

Suggestions will be marked as verified immediately.

    Select name in filter and select operator as contains and field value as ATT. It will show all the accounts with ATT.

    Hi sandeepc,

    the best way to find similar name is the soundex algorithm.

    You will find a c# implementation of it at this page:

    Once downloaded you could proceed as follows:

    1) retrieve all accounts by linq (fetch and query retrieve have a 5000 records limit)

    2) prepare the "soundex list" for your target accounts

    3) loop over all retrieved records 

    4) apply the soundex diff for each item of "soundex list" and take the highest value

    5) at the end, evaluate only high value points (eventually you could save points into a new custom attribute, we named "new_soundex")

    Remove the Account name equal condition and see if you are getting all the records.
