Financial Dimension on Expense Report Related to Project EP

Hello 

 

When I distribute the amounts of an expense report on EP:

First scenario, I select the Project ID of the header, I get the financial dimensions of the project on the line expense. So this works fine.

Now the second scenario when I do not select a Header project ID but I do select a project ID in the line expense line, I get the financial dimensions of the worker

I want the project financial dimensions to be displayed in the lines.

 

Am I missing something to setup ?

 

I would appreciate your help to resolve this weird behavior.

    Hi Oussama,

    Each module (sometimes each document) handles dimension defaulting different. It appears this is most likely by design.

    Most users are likely to have a default dimension per employee, versus not all expense users use project so it may not have been chosen as the default dimension to apply for this module/document type.

    You could potentially customize this in the code or always apply the dimensions from the header and override from there.

    Is this a display problem or are the findims from the project not included in the lines in the way you want/need.

    Can you elaborate and possibly share a simplified example and/or some screenprints that illustrate the issue in more detail?
