Preparing for D365 Exam MB2-716/Course 81071

I'm trying to access study materials so I can take D365 Customization and Configuration exam. Unfortunately I'm having trouble accessing CustomerSource and Dynamics Learning Portal. Does anyone have instructions for how to use these two resources? We are just a Microsoft customer, not a partner, but I was expecting there to be some resources for customers to use that were more extensive than the videos on MVA.

    Hi Stanton,

    Getting access to Customer Source should normally be included in your organisation Microsoft Dynamics agreement. It might be that it is just your account that needs to be associated to your organisation or possibly the whole organisation is not setup on Customer Source. I would suggest you reach out to Microsoft Customer source support or to your Microsoft account manager / licensing provider.

    Hi Stanton,

    As a Microsoft Customer you should be able to access CustomerSource, are you not able to do that? I would contact your Microsoft Licensing Specialist to assist you in getting access to that. Microsoft does have training videos for MB2-716 on Dynamics Learning Portal, which can be helpful.

    Regarding additional course materials for the customization and configuration exam. The first thing that I can say, is make sure that you have enough hands on experience and not just study materials for the exam.

    Also, I would recommend going over Neil Parkhurst's Customization and Configuration Guide. This provides you with the materials and training that you need for learning for this exam.
