We don't even use BA yet every company at the very ends crashing the utilities upgrade with errors about duplicate keys on the SY40500 and the SY40503 tables. When you have 25 companies to upgrade this becomes ridiculous. I have done 3 test upgrades and each time it's different. If it's recreating these tables, how the heack is the duplicate values in it when we don't even use them!

Since we don't use BA I just deleted the 2 tables from the Dynamics database before upgrading.

Did you get a Dexsql.log? Its almost impossible to know what is causing this unless we see the log file.

I manually reidexed both and there are no duplicates, plus I reindex each week with our DB maintenance plan. The issue is that there are no duplicates, but the upgrade itself is causing duplicates.

To start with, these tables come with pre-written alerts from MS.

I would try to do a SQL Reindex of the tables and find out which records are "duplicated". Since you are not using the alerts, you should not have a problem deleting the alert (inside GP) that seems to be causing the issue. If you do, delete it through SQL
