HI,
I created a new field of type multiple line of text. I made it searchable. I can't seem to search. it in my view when I try nothing is coming up.
Please help

Do you mean when you search the new field in the view, you get nothing as the following screenshot shows?
If so, you can refer to this blog(https://powerobjects.com/tips-and-tricks/how-to-add-a-field-to-quick-find-in-crm-2015/).
Result:
Follow the steps provided by to add search column to your view.
If it is already configured correctly, make sure you're using wild card search (*<search content>) if the content you're searching is not the beginning text in multiline text field.
