ShowDebugMessages parameter automatically changing from FALSE to TRUE

Hi,

Has anyone seen the ShowDebugMessages parameter in the Dex.ini file automatically changing from FALSE to TRUE?  One of our clients has 8 terminal servers and after a while, 1 or more Terminal Server will get an "Assertion Failed" error when logging into GP.

What they used to do is to copy the GP folder from one good Terminal Server to the faulty one.

We then found out that this is caused by the ShowDebugMessages parameter being automatically set to TRUE.  Users do not have access to the C:\ drive so they can't just edit the Dex.ini file nor this parameter.

They also do not have the Support Debugging Tool installed.

At the moment, all their Terminal Servers are fine.  However, randomly, with no pattern, after a coupple of days or could be a couple of months, the error will again come up for some Terminal Servers.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Thanks,
Joan
