Hello GP Folks,
We are currently in GP 2016 R2 version running on SQL Server 2014. We are planning to upgrade SQL Server from 2014 to 2016 and i have below questions related to SQL Server Upgrade.
Q1-- I know i referred this KB Article before when we changed SQL Server 2008 R2 to 2014 however i have noticed now this article applies to only below GP versions in which GP 2016 R2 is not one of them. Is it just typo ? or 2016 R2 is missing here on purpose ?

Q2-- I also remember from KB Article when we changed SQL Server 2008 R2 to 2014 that we performed DB maintenance on Dynamics and each company db's. Now i don't see that step in KB except it has been referred to only Dynamics GP 2010 (Step 17 and Step 18). Per my knowledge we have to perform Database Maintenance Utility irrespective of GP version , Please confirm ?
Please guide me if i am referring to wrong KB and also provide me if there is any other documentation or nice articles with Steps to change SQL Server version. Thanks in advance for your help.
