link the Purchase Order Item No field when I linked a new Job Planning line

I am trying to link the Purchase Order Item No field when I linked a new Job Planning line, but still, I don't find the codeunit or another way to do it.

For example, when I create a new purchase order I am going to link with a new planning line, and after clicking on the new button I want to populate PO No with Job Planning Line No automatically.

If you know how? I would appreciate it.

you need to link the po to the jobs no. first before linking it to the planning line no. BUT if you do, BC will create a negative adjustment after you post receipt for the item. this in effect zero out the purchased item.
my advice is not to use the link cause it zeros out your purchase. It seems to be a bug to me. Not sure why it was designed this way.

Hi, if you follow the standard approach, I think this is difficult to do, because you go from page Purchase Order Subform to page Job Planning Lines first. You need to pass the "No." field, and then pass the value when creating a new Job Planning Line.

I think you can create a new action on the Purchase Order Subform, click it and directly insert a new Job Planning Line and associate it with the Purchase Line. This may be simpler.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.
