I would like to create a Smartlist that combines to PayCodes into one column. We have Sick time for both Salary and Hourly employees. I would like to present these as one column. no employee would have both at the same time. I'm thinking I should be able to create a calculated field but not sure of the formula since I really don't need to add them together.

I ended up working with one of our technical people and he created a SQL view. There is not an easier way to combine the leave codes.

Are you sure Salary and Hourly employees comes in two different columns not rows ? It would be highly appreciated if you share a sample data of this smart list to help you build the calculated field.
Furthermore, in case this is a customized report. Modifying this on the SQL level comes as an easier choice.
