Print product label within Movement by template process

Hello community,

I have a question regarding the movement by template process.

For our subcontracted semi-finished goods the inbound delivery is posted automatically into a non LP-controlled warehouse.

For the put-away work we use a mobile device menu item with the type "Movement by template"

We now want to print a product label within the movement process - is this possible with the standard functionality? And if it is so, how?

(I'm aware of the whole printing label process containing document routing and so on, but I'm not sure if it is possible with this particular work creation process)

I'm happy for every recommendation that may helps us.

I don't have my printer setup to test it for sure, but it kind of looks like you can. I'm assuming on the movement by template menu item you'll need to make sure that generate license plate is checked. I was able to add the print line on the inventory movement work template.

That should be all you need.

Hi Lukas Friedl,

Yes you can generate and print labels while doing inventory movement using movement by template option.

Make sure the work template has a print step in it and document routing is setup for the right label and printer to print the label.

Hi Community, I reopen this former topic.

When I create an invetory movement work from the location, even if my work template contains a print step, when the work is created, the print step doesn't appear.

Do you know why i have this behavior?

I've tried in several environments and it's always only a pick/put work without the print step :

-Menu used:

-Work template:

-Work created:

I think nothing is missing but maybe someone already faced that also?
