How to discover Dynamics 365 online instances using Azure Application?

I'm using Postman.

Try with User and App:

  1. Acquire token with User+App
  2. Get - globaldisco.crm.dynamics.com/.../Instances
  3. 200 - Reveive 3 instances information.

Try with App only:

  1. Acquire token with App only
  2. Get - globaldisco.crm.dynamics.com/.../Instances
  3. 401 - Unauthorized.

Is it possible to get instances information only using App?

Different url?

    Hi Walder,

    Using the Global Discovery endpoint currently needs AAD user context to authenticate correctly.

    You can see pattern as used in the sample code at docs.microsoft.com/.../global-discovery-service-csharp .

    Hi Waldner,

    You can not at this time, and I'm well aware of that gap.  It exists if you try and get the instance list using the DES API or the Online Management API as well.  I'd recommend posting about it on both the Dynamics and PowerApps Ideas at experience.dynamics.com/.../ and powerusers.microsoft.com/.../PowerAppsIdeas respectively.  Let me know if you do so, both to upvote myself, and to get others to upvote, so we can try to raise visibility of it. (This gap really bugs me. :D )
