Hello!

I would like to know what is the base for the collection letter fee calculation in diffrent currencies.

Is it
  • Currency on customer card or
  • Currency of the invoice

    Hello,

Yes, it's based on both criteria (it's a combination):
    - Customer: we link on the customer profile the collection set to use. So, inside, we can decide to link the collection set to all customers, customer groups or a specific customer.
We can see in this example that customer group 30 is connected to the collection letter set "high". The posting profile reference is the one used during the invoice posting.

    - Currency: The invoice currency triggers the fee applied.
In this example, for the customer group 30, we apply the collection letter set "high". If the invoice is in USD, D365 applies 20, otherwise, if the currency is EUR, we apply 10:

Thank you. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
