Security Task for Miscellaneous Check

I have assigned a user task TRX_FIN_006* so that she can create Miscellaneous Checks.  When she clicks Print+Post, she receives the message indicating that she is not authorized.  There is NOTHING to do with this task but Post, so what other task am I possibly missing?  I've attempted to assign TRX_FIN_005* as well, to no avail!  Which operation needs to be assigned so that the transaction can be posted?

I am not sure but you can try providing access to TRX_FIN_003* which says post financial series.

Interesting.  I do not want them to have all of the functionality that goes along with that task so I will just review the operations until it fits, I guess.  Thank you for the suggestion.

I should have phrased my question better.

The default GP task Id TRX_FIN_006* having full access to enter and post miscellaneous checks. And task id TRX_FIN_003* having access to post all financial series.

I think, the posting permission issue was occurred due to Analytical Accounting window. Hope you have enable analytical accounting. If so, please assign the task id TRX_AA_001* as well as to the users.

    Hope this helps!!!

I'm glad you pointed out AA.  We recently disabled AA so I am sure that is impacting us.  I did not want to assign _006* so I will now have a VAR go look at those tables.

    Leah,

If you disabled the AA then, it should work. Please make sure the AA is completely removed from your GP(Go to GP installed folder and check the Dynamics.set file having Analytical Accounting or not).

    Hope this helps!!!
