When Posting a Warehouse Receipt, Which part of the code be used to insert value of a customized field in the Item Ledger entry??

Flow data of customized field between standard pages

I think you will first have to add the field to the item journal line.

Add the value from the warehouse receipt to the item journal line.

Then add the value to the item ledger entry when the item journal line is posted.

May it is an easier work around to use a dimension for this?

Then you will not need any customization.
