Cheat sheet on voiding AP checks and invoices

Greetings!

We are struggling with the dates to use when voiding these transactions and how they impact the GL and the sub-ledgers. Between the document date, transaction date and void date our GL never seems to agree to our Aging. Does anyone have a quick summary of how these date fields work?

Yes, we run the reconcile to GL and I run the AP report with options. The issue is they have no clue how the dates they use impact the GL vs the sub-ledger. I'd love to provide guidance on this!

Have you tried the 'Reconcile to GL' under Financial - Routines?

Also, when you run the aging report, it's better to choose the one 'with options'
