Unified Service Desk client error - No applications are configured for your use

I've downloaded the latest USD version for CRM and copied the PackageDeployer (v. 3.3.0.929) on our CRM server. Then I ran the setup of the PackageDeployer and choose to install the package Unified Service Desk - New Environment.

I also installed the USD client (Dynamics365-USD-3.3.0.931-amd64.exe) on my laptop and connected to our CRM on-premise organization.

Now when I want open the USD I get the following error:
APPLICATION_HOST_ERR_NO_CONFIGURED_APPS: No applications are configured for your use.

The USD log has the following errors:

    Hi

Sorry, you might have already fixed your issue. If not..

You have to configure your USD before using it. So far what you have done is just installing the USD. Installation is not enough but you have to configure it as well. Look at the posts of Neil @ www.neilparkhurst.com for more details.

There is another option to do a quick start of USD. When you install USD, use the second option (sounds like - Install USD with Web Application package) which gives you some set of default configurations which is a good start.

    All the best

The new install you opted for in the packagedeployer will have installed USD but won't have created any configuration. If this is your first attempt with USD, I would recommend running the packagedeployer again. This time select the Microsoft sample package for the webclient. That will install a demo application with a standard config of USD.

    Hi,

I have faced this issue multiple times. Please validate the below steps

    1. The user has USD Agent Role

    2. If you are using USD Configurations, make sure that this User has a USD Configuration set on the User record that has the required components in it

    3. Make sure the User using which you created/imported the USD components is a part of the same Business Unit as the User trying to use USD. (This happens because USD agent role has only BU level access on all the USD entities)

just delete the contents of folder %appdata%/Microsoft/usd  and try again. looking at the error you were previously connecting to different org using USD from this machine, remnants of that usage(login) are still in this folder causing issue.
