Using the back key and not going back to the exact previous page

When navigating our CRM why does the back key not take us back to the previous page? It's a function that we rely on and it's extremely hard to navigate the system and look for answers efficiently.

    Hi Jen,

    Can you tell me what version of your environment, i can back to the previous page through back button.

    As document said, " Use the back button for form, view, and dashboard pages on the command bar to go back to the previous page. To go back to the previous page, select the Go back button."

    And you can't go back to the previous page on any page?

    Or you can expand Recent tab in sitemap, you cam select one to go back any previous pages.

    Note: Recent items show the last 10 views / records / dashboards in the Unified Interface, .
