API - GET and POST Item by Location

I have an inventory replenishment app that is live on other platforms and now building integration into Dynamics 365. I am trying to GET and POST Item details i.e. Inventory on hand, Sales Quantities, On Orders by Location/Site. I am only managing to get this data as Total Quantities i.e all Location/Sites. Does anyone know how to get out via API's details of Items at a Location/Site level?

These are the links I've been using to find API info, but I can't see any API for this level of detail.

Thanks

    Hello,

What about creating your own API? Your partner can assist you with this development effort.

    Thanks.

Thanks Marco. Are you able to send a link from Microsoft resources that explains how to create your own API?
