Creating a dynamic segment based on response from Microsoft Forms

Posted on by

I have a Microsoft Form where people can indicate if they'd like to subscribe to our newsletter. I'd like to create a dynamic segment that adds someone's contact info to the segment if that person picks the 'yes' option on the form. Is it possible to do that?

Thanks!

    Hi Lily,

at what point do you get this error message?

Don't forget that you also need to embed this form into a Subscription center page

Thanks Elena! Following the link about subscription center, I need to set up a subscription list and a marketing form, where I add the subscription list to the form (docs.microsoft.com/.../set-up-subscription-center. I'm struggling to create the marketing form though and keep getting this error:

Contact form matching : Required fields must be filled in.

Do you know what might be causing the error? Thanks so much in advance!

    Hi Lily,

you can use subscription list for that purpose

    docs.microsoft.com/.../segments-vs-lists

You'll also need to set up a subscription center (as if somebody signs up for a newsletter he/she should be able to unsubscribe as well :))

Currently I have a static segment. But if more people would like to subscribe, I need to manually port in the new contacts at a certain cadence, which is inefficient for both the subscriber and me.

If creating a dynamic segment is not the way to go, I'm open to other solutions too! Thanks again :)
