I am attempting to delete a contract template but it returns a common error "The record cannot be deleted because it is associated with another record." .From previous posts, this could be as a result of 1:N Relationship. Which is the easiest way of finding out which record this template is related to. I seem to run around unsuccessfully.

according to this article contract templates can't be deleted, once they have been used:
