Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized when opening SSRS report from Menuitem. AX 2012 R2

Hii,

Getting following error when running the SSRS report from menu item from AX client.

"The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized"

From admin account on server its running properly.

If I give system admin access to user, even though it is giving same error. Its for all reports. We newly create the user.

    Hi,

    It seems you are unable to connect to the reporting server. Please check the whether the SSRS report server is up and running and password of service account specified on Reporting Services Configuration Manager is not expired. Also, the account should be a used as business connector proxy in Ax(System Administration > Setup > System > System service accounts). Supply the service account again and deploy the reports to check still if there is any error.

    Hi Rana,

    Above given access issue is not from AX, You would have to check the access on report URL. You can get report URL from Sys Admin -> Setup -> Business Intelligence -> Reporting Services -> Report Servers.

    if its only for one user only please check AUC file of the user.
