Hi,
In Data Management, Whenever “Refresh entity list” in framework parameters is clicked one of our entity “Shipments” entity mapping control got corrupted. Below error reported in notification.
Error occurred while loading mapping control. See screen shot below.
Because of this few key columns like Load ID, Order ID etc., value filled with empty values in BYOD. Although mapped initially refresh make Mapping disappear. Also Export options didn't report any error. Please advice.
Regards,
Manivannan
Did you try exporting same entity in Excel? and also go to Data Management work space - Data Entities - Filter your entity and click on 'Modify data mapping' and see if you still get the same error. Is your screen shot from Data project or from data entities form? Why target has less columns? Have you removed from mapping?
Hi Mani,
Since this is a custom entity I can't really see the details about it.
The error message only comes when the data entity is part of some processing group. Please try deleting all the processing groups including import and export. Delete the data entity.
Then refresh the data entities, recreate mappings. and configure processing group for Excel export before you configure it for BYODW. verify the data in EXCEL then configure it for BYODW.
Also was this data entity ever successful to export data to BYOD or this was newly developed. IF this is newly developed get the recreated/tested by developer again.
Hi Vinit,
Based on your suggestion I removed the entity from the processing groups listed in that report. Actually 3 export project listed in that report. Then I tried to delete the shipments entity from the entity list. But same error appears.
Entity cannot be deleted while dependent Entities for a processing group exist. Delete dependent Entities for a processing group and try again.

Hi Manivannan,
To find dependent processing group you can use go to <base AOS URL>/?cmp=<copmanyName>&mi=systablebrowser&tablename=DMFDEFINITIONGROUPENTITY
In this form, you can filter by the entity you want and can see all the definition groups where this entity is used.
Either remove the entity from the processing group or delete the entire processing group.
Then you can delete the "Shipments" entity.
Refresh the entire entity list again and publish the entity again to BYODW.
Hi Manivannan,
Pl follow below steps and let me know if this helps.
1. Delete all the import/export projects for this data entity.
2. Delete this data entity from Data management
3. Refresh entity list from Data management parameter.
4. If you are not getting your entity in list, try to create manually (you only need to select target entity , rest all fields must auto populate accordingly).
5. Select this record and click on modify target mapping and click on generate mapping.
Find all the export projects that you may have created for exporting data to BYOD, delete them and then try deleting the entity. That is what the error pointing to.
Hi,
I emptied the values in BYOD and tried to delete "Shipments" entity. Below error came.
I checked table browser and removed the Shipments entity from Import/Export project and tried again to delete the entity from Data entity list. But still below error appears.
Entity cannot be deleted while dependent Entities for a processing group exist. Delete dependent Entities for a processing group and try again.
How to find the dependent entities ?

Manivannan
Hi Manivannan,
1. Try to delete this data entity in the data entity list and then "Refresh entity list" to regenerate this data entity.
2. After Re-generate this data entity check the mapping and correct the mapping manually if it's not auto-mapped, then save it.
3. Re-publish this data entity to your BYOD environment
4. Re-try the data entity export.
empty values in BYOD, then should check root cuase in the execution history of the date export project
if there are any structural changes then republish and suggest
Try to delete and add the entity manually and see if that resolves the issue instead of using the refresh entity list.
