We recently tried to move our company files from a computer running SQL 2000 and GP 9 to a computer running
SQL 2005 and GP10.
When we started to convert our company with Dynamics utilities it ran into an error invalid column name TRNSLOC and stopped. We reran the update with the same result.
We ran full file maintenance successfully in version 9 on all files (including service management and inventory)and do not use service management or carry inventry balances
The software was upgraded from SBM a few years ago
The following SQL statement produced an error CREATE VIEW dbo.ATP_IVXFR_IN AS SELECT IV00101.ITEMNMBR, SVC00701.....
Any ideas....

I have the same problem.
Any ideas or solution.
Thanks
This simply pops up while we are running the update to our company in Dynamics Utilities.
Then Ultilities stops and the company update fails.
It shows an inventory file and two unused service management files.
Hi,
Before I think something irrelevant, can you tell me, what exactly is that view?
It does not look like a standard GP view. Or atleast, I would like to know the list of tables which are there in that view.
My guess at this stage zeroes in to any of the table in that view, which tries to refer to the field TRNSLOC which was available on the previous version and not now.
Please do post the details to probe better.
