Sub Area properties supports Web resource. Web resource of type HTML only. I need to open module on click of any subarea. URL can be hard coded . But I want to call module on Click of subarea from Webresource in same tab. Any help?

If you want to do this in HTML: <a href = "page.html" target = "_self"> </a>

Else, use Javascript: window.open('page.html', '_self');

This might work in your case.
