Hii,

I have a requirement to show product number column on Transfer orders, Movement journal lines and some other forms.

Item id is already there but need to show Product number as well. I added the DisplayProductNumber field from EcoResProduct table not showing info.

Please guide how we can achieve it so we can show Product number where ever item id is being displayed.

Thanks,

    You may have missed correct joins between InventTable and EcoResProduct

    would you like to elaborate your current solution, so we can see where its going wrong.

    Unfortunately none of the datasources behind this form, has got product id.

    you would have to do any of following approach. (customization)

    1) add new datasource by joins

    or

    2) write display method on InventTransferLine

    Please use display method, as following.

    //BP deviation documented
    public display EcoResProductDisplayProductNumber productNumber()
    {
        ;
        return EcoResProduct::find(InventTable::find(this.ItemId).Product).DisplayProductNumber;
    }

    Thanks Shoaib,

    I achieved the requirement. One more thing, how to make productNumber column search able.

    Thanks,

    to make it searchable you have to change the way the solution is deigned. you need to add InventTable and EcoResProduct as datasources in your form.

    Hi,

    To get the productnumber(searchable) on the lookup, add the table EcoResProduct as the datasource to the form InventItemIdLookupSimple and set the properties as shown below.
