How to transfer items from Receive Bin to another Stock Bin in Advance Warehousing

Hi Experts,

I have encountered a problem where put-away lines suggested by the system has been deleted by the user and registered the pick. Since the item has different unit of measures, the first conversion lines were registered. Hence the items are in Receive bin now.

My issue is, how to transfer the items in Receive bin to a stock bin. I have tried movement worksheet and whse item reclass journals. Exception pops up as "Receive must be equal to 'No' in Bin Type: Code=RECEIVE. Current value is 'Yes'.".

    Hi,

    Search for "Put Away Worksheet".

    Open "Get Warehouse Documents..."

    You should see all your posted receipts which are in receive-bin.

    Normally, I select all lines and then NAV creates a suggestions for all receipt for which no put-away exists.

    Use "Put Away Worksheet" to create a new Put Away document.

    I tried this method and the problem is it does not show me the posted warehouse receipt. I think the reason is, the status of posted warehouse receipt. Currently it shows as "Completely Put Away". Let me explain the scenario from the beginning with step by step print screens;

    1. I have an item which is having a unit of measure conversion as EACH and Case. 1 Case contains 10 EACH. Please see the below print screen.

    2. Purchase Order is created for 100 Cases.

    3. Warehouse Receipts created from the purchase order and tracking information entered.

    3.-Whse-Receipt.png

    4. Post Whse Receipt and Put-away created.

    5. Created Put-away

    Put-away has 4 lines. First 2 lines are for the conversion from CASE to EACH for the SAME BIN. Then the 3rd line suggests to take the converted EACH to Place in the correct Bin. This is where the user has done the mistake. The last 2 lines have been deleted by mistake. Pls refer the attached print-screen below;

    6. After that the put-away has been registered and whse receipt is posted with the status "Completely Put Away"

    Now the items are sitting at Receive Bin and my actual issue now is how to move it to an actual stock location?

    Another option is to do Warehouse adjustment. Do negative and positive adjustment.

    Hi Thilina Perera & Readers,

    I would like to know the setup you're using in Warehouse Put-Away.

    In your case you have two unit of measures i.e. Each = 1 qty & Case = 100 Each

    In your warehouse put away it is showing to Take 100 cases from Receive Bin and Place those 100 in Receive Bin and then move them to its actual location. (screenshot attached)

    However, I want to do the same for Pcs = 1 & Box = 100 Pcs (in my case) but in my put away it is only showing me to Take and Place the qty in BOX as I have made my purchase using this UOM.

    I am using PCS as my Base UOM

    Could you pls guide.

    the previous warehouse uses Directed put away and pick location, the so called advance warehouse management. so nav does something called break bulk. in your case, your location doesn't seem to be a directed one, so BC only use the uom of box instead of breaking into pieces
